Midvale, UT-Harry Cameron Russell, 87, passed away peacefully at home on Friday evening, April 29, 2016. He was born on October 22, 1928 in London, England of American parents, Dr. Ray McIntyre Russell and Inez Evelyn Cameron. In 1939, Dr. and Mrs. Russell returned to the United States with their three children, Harry, his twin sister Jane, and sister Evelyn, making their home in Salt Lake City for 18 months; then Beverly Hills, California where he graduated from Beverly Hills High School; also one year at Santa Monica City College. Later, received his Bachelor's Degree from Brigham Young University. Harry filled a mission (1948-50) to the Central States for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS). In July 1951, he was drafted into the United States Army; 17 months later being commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the Corps of Engineers, serving in the Korean War. Later, 1st Lieutenant (10 years active and reserve). Funeral Services, Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11:30am, at Union Fort 3rd Ward chapel, 6710 South 1300 East, Midvale, Utah. Friends may call at the Church from 9am to 11am before funeral services. Interment: Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
