Clara Harding, 80, of Aurora, died Thursday, May 26, 2016, in Aurora.

Visitation is 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, at Azleland Cemetery. A graveside service will immediately follow.

Clara was born May 23, 1936, in Houston to Tyra Dora Blaylock-Strickland and Jack Strickland. She worked as a nurse where she brought joy, love and laughter to everyone with whom she came in contact.

Clara never met a stranger. She was an active and energetic mother and grandmother. She loved to drive and card games, playing with many people in her complex.

Clara was a strong-willed woman and family meant everything to her. She had an enormous family and was proud of every one of them.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Mills; son, Franklin Robles; grandson, Rowdy Robles; parents, Jack and Tyra Strickland; brothers, Emmett, Robert, and Pete Strickland; and sister, Dorthey Folks.

Clara is survived by her sons, Charles Bear, Ricky and Bradford Robles, Randall New, and Billy Jack Guance; daughters, Catherine Garcia, Thelma Cisnerros, and Tamra Jenkins-Carnley; and countless grandkids, great-grandkids and great-great-grandkids.
