Mrs. Humphries, 76, was born June 22, 1932 in Houston, Texas to the union of Jack and Tyra Blaylock Strickland and passed from this life on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 in the LaSalle General Hospital in Jena. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Charles of Jena; two sons, Mark Alan Folks and wife Beverly of Cumming, Georgia and Steven Craig Folks and wife Cindy of Fort Worth, Texas; three step-sons, Charles Lee Humphries and Kelvin Humphries of Monroe and Clay Humphries of Hendersonville, Tennessee; one daughter, Patricia Lynn Weekley and husband Roger of Mobile, Alabama; one step daughter, Wanda Malta of Monroe; one brother, Emmett Doyle Strickland of Gumbarrell, Texas; four sisters, Betty Lou Foster and husband Ralph of Rhome, Texas, Thelma Clara Nichols Hardy of Azle, Texas, Jeanette Merchand and husband Joshua of Dallas, Texas, and Linda Sue Massingale and husband Eddie of Gunb arrell, Texas; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren and five step-great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Humphries Lovett and husband George of Jena and Mary Humphries Knapp of Jena; one brother-in-law, Allen Burl Humphries and wife Margaret of Doyline.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Tyra Blaylock Strickland, two sons, Harold Dale Lilley and Kenneth Ray Folks, two brothers, Robert and Pete Strickland.
Pallbearers will be Charles Roberts, Terry Knapp, Mickey Cockerham, Harold Windham, Charles Lee Humphries and Kelvin Humphries.
