Mrs. A. H. Pollard of this city, who is a sister to Mrs. Johnson, was called to San Francisco a month and a half ago by the announcement that it would be necessary for her sister to submit to an operation. This took place Feb. 19 and since that time Mrs. Johnson has lingered on, gradually failing until death came last evening. Mrs. Johnson was born in New York state and was 54 years old. She is survived by two sons, Howard and Millard and her sister, Mrs. Pollard of this city. The remains will be brought here for burial.
