Mrs. Amelia S. Pollard, wife of A. H. Pollard, died at the home, 1009 Fourteenth-and-a-half street, at 9 o'clock this morning of apoplexy, from which she had been a sufferer since last Friday. The deceased was born at Albian, N.Y., Dec. 18, 1850, and was married to Mr. Pollard at Lindon, Ill., Sept. 18, 1872. She is survived by her husband and two sons, Fred R. Pollard and Harvey A. Pollard of this city. She was a consistent member of the First Baptist church and was greatly beloved in this city, which had been her home for so many years.
The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon from the residence, Rev. H. W. Reed, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating.
