"Martin Isaac (Mart) Warren, 77, died suddenly at his home 2-1/2 miles northwest of Ludlow. He suffered a heart attack following breakfast.
Mr. Warner was born Feb. 7, 1876, son of Lewis and Sarah (Achenbach) Warner. He spent his lifetime in the Ludlow community, attending the Warner school and spending the last 27 years on the farm on which he died. Feb. 19, 1902, he married Lola Bryan at Ludlow. The couple observed their 51st wedding anniversary last month.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Niles Hill of Ludlow; and a sister, Mrs. Linnie Davis of Kidder, Mo. A son, two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the Ludlow Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Monroe Cemetery." The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune, March 12, 1953
