"The death of William Warner, 62-year old Monroe township farmer, occurred at his home about two miles west of Ludlow Friday afternoon. He had lived in that community many years and was well known there.

The funeral service will be held at Molo Church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by the Rev. Earl Cooper of Liberty. Burial will be in the Monroe Cemetery.

Mr. Warner is survived by his widow and one daughter, Mrs. Fred Wilson of Kansas City.

He suffered a stroke of paralysis last April and had since that time been an invalid. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson have been with her parents, assisting in the care of Mr. Warner, since he became will." The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune, August 22, 1940
