Charles "Chuck" William Dreiling, 72, passed away October 24 at his home in Springfield after a short battle with cancer.
Chuck was born September 13, 1934, in Great Bend, KS.
Chuck was a retired food broker with Crumpley and Associates. He enjoyed volunteering with the Retired Volunteer Senior Program where he drove "his ladies". Chuck has also served on various charitable boards.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Ann; daughter, Margaret Parrish and her husband Mike; son, Steve Dreiling; daughter, Marilyn Owens and her husband Steve; daughter, Marita Pemberton and her husband Steven; daughter, Marcia Passeri; and two extremely special grandchildren, whom he adored.
Chuck was a very caring husband, father, and doting grandfather. Visitation is October 27, 2006, in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at Immaculate Conception Church on October 28. Burial will follow in Hazelwood Cemetery.
