Robert Michael “Bob” Reed, 73, of Metropolis passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Massac Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Reed was a former electrician, metal fabricator, and owner of Delta Fabricators, Inc. He was a member of Powers United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Renee Torres of Albuquerque, NM, Rebecca Congdon (Scott) of Gillette, Wyoming, Reba Brinker (Adam) of Brookport; twelve grandchildren, Chelsi Stoneham (Greg) of Brookport, Kyle Davidson (Emily) of Rantoul, IL, Ashley Pugh (Robert) of Panama City, FL, Briana Davidson of Metropolis, Alecia Cooper of Metropolis, Tyler Paul of Gillette, Wyoming, Robert Michael Reed of Metropolis, Drake Brinker of Brookport, Alayna Brinker of Brookport, Logan Paul of Gillette, Wyoming, Tristan Bowman of Pope County, IL, Emma Torres of Albuquerque, NM; five great-grandchildren, Zoe, Madelyn, Isiah, Junior, Lucas, and Adelyn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ovid and Ethleen (Kaufman) Reed; one sister, Linda Sue Dragoo; one daughter, Roberta Michelle Davidson; and one son, Robert John Reed.
Memorial visitation will be from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Lindsey Funeral Home.
