Nylice P. (Fiscus) Stone, 75, of Bloomington, died Monday at Bloomington Hospital. Born March 4, 1927, in Owen County, she was the daughter of William Vernon and Veneta (Toomey) Fiscus. She was a graduate of Ellettsville High School. She retired from RCA, where she had worked for 29 years. She attended Arlington United Methodist Church. She enjoyed the outdoors, flowers, reading, and doing crossword puzzles. She loved her family. She adored her dog "Patch" who went almost everywhere with her. Survivors include one daughter, Victoria Jackson of Bloomington; one son, Jerry Stone of Bloomington; one sister, Ruby Lineback of Avon; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, James V. Stone Jr.; her parents; two sisters, Crystal Fiscus, who died in infancy, and Dorothy Fiscus Hughes; two nephews and one niece. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel, with the Rev. Gloria Nelson officiating. Burial will be at Clear Creek Cemetery.
