James V. Stone Jr., 66, of Bloomington, died Thursday at Bloomington Hospital. Born Oct. 11, 1926, in Bloomington, he was the son of James V. and Gladys S. (Faris) Stone. He retired from Moon Freight Lines in 1986. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Teamsters Local 135 and Sycamore Valley Gun Club. Survivors include his wife, Nylice P. (Fiscus) Stone; one son, Jerry B. Stone of Bloomington; one daughter, Victoria L. Jackson of Bloomington; one sister, Jeanne Peoples of Marietta, Ga.; and his parents of Bloomington. He was preceded in death by one son, James V. Stone III.
