Randall W. Hopkins age 68, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Jan. 5, 1948, to Perry and Jane Hopkins.
Randall proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War (1967-1971), serving three tours. He was a loving son, husband, brother and uncle and will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched.
On March 13, 1989, in Hot Springs, AR, he married Mary Catherine Beasley, who preceded him in death Aug. 9, 2009.
Also preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Ronald Perry Hopkins and Roger Franklin Hopkins; and sister, Brenda Jayne Russell.
He is survived by his sisters, Peggy (Douglas) Thomas of Tullahoma, TN, Linda (Robert) Rozinski of LaPorte, Sheila Faye (Jerry) Smeltzer of Michigan City, IN, and Pamela (Donald) Chapman of Auburn, IN; special nephew and caretaker, Michael Allen Lawrie Sr. of Michigan City; two aunts; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 4, at 2 p.m. at Hanna Cemetery, Hanna, IN, with Chaplain Mark Grobner officiating.
