AGE 71 YEARS
Dianne Marie Jackson, of Woodhull, NY passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at The Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital in Williamsport.
Born October 26, 1944 in Wellsboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Max B. and Alice Mae (Freeman) Thompson.
She worked at Max and Alice’s Restaurant in Elkland and the Electric Cord.
Dianne enjoyed working with plastic canvas, ceramics, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Jenny of Woodhull, NY, John Jr. of Cameron, NC, Dianna of Bradford, NY, and Carol of Charleston, SC;
12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; sisters, Sharon of Elkland, Nancy-Le of Knoxville, Polly of Elkland, Teresa of Elkland, Valerie of Hardyville, KY and Mazie of Elkland;
her brothers, Eugene of Lawrencville, Phillip of Elkland and Jeffrey of Osceola; son in law, Richard of Osceola.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Slocum, Sr. and her daughter, Debra Marintez.
Burial: Fairview Cemetery, Osceola.
