Randall “Randy” Lee Nelson, 50, Kokomo, passed away at 5:20 p.m. on Monday, May 23, 2016, at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. He was born December 31, 1965, in Howard County, to Jack Don and Mary Helen (Livingston) Nelson. On October 10, 2004, he married Pamela Hanson, and she survives.

Randy enjoyed fishing, was an avid Colts fan, and cherished spending time with his grandkids. He attended Fairview Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, Pamela Nelson, he is survived by one son, Blaine Nelson; three daughters, Tiffani (Tim) Hunt, Brandi Powell and Misti (Josh) Kilgore; eleven grandchildren, Brooklyn, Tristan, Da’vion, Tyler, Sueryah, Cullen, Tayjaun, Jonathan, Connor, Lilly, and Taybron; and four sisters, Janice Nelson, Pam (John) Swick, Carol (Greg) Shupperd, and Jackie (Ron) David.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Kimberly Nelson.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Shirley and Stout Funeral Home Jefferson Street Chapel, 414 W. Jefferson St., Kokomo, with Pastor Steve Sherwood officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
