Mary retired from the Kokomo Tribune. She was a unique and intricate part of Kokomo life for her many family members and countless friends; good listener, trustworthy confidant, finds the best in everyone and never judges, are a few of the descriptive phrases that would define her greatest accomplishments for the viewpoint of those she leaves behind, including her brother, Allen Livingston and sisters, Pat Lowe and Jo Jordon.
Mary's own list of achievements would undoubtedly begin with her four surviving daughters, Ms (Jackie) Ron David, Ms. (Pam) John Swick, Ms. (Carol Ann) Greg Shupperd, Janice Nelson; plus her son Randy (Pam) Nelson, 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren with one great-grandson expected in November. She is also survived by countless others she befriended and nurtured during her productive and busy lifetime. Mary will be sorely missed by her family and by all who were privileged to know this loving soul who has answered God's call to home.
