This morning, Mrs. S. E. Gilbert, aged 62 died in the Second ward from diarrhea. She had been a resident of this city for 52 years. She was a native of England.

Mrs. Sarah E. Gilbert, relict of the late E. F. Gilbert and mother of E. F. Gilbert, freight clerk at the International depot; died this morning at 6:30 o'clock at her residence on North Flores street. Mrs. Gilbert was an English lady, who has been here for many years, and who was justly esteemed by a large circle of friends. She has been in failing health for some time past and has recently laid in estremis. Much sympathy is expressed for Mr. Ed. F. Gilbert and his amiable wife in their sad bereavement.
