OGDEN - I was born April 24, 1930 in Heber City, Utah, the oldest son of Angus and Grace Jacobson Gibson.

I graduated from Davis High School in 1948.

I served in the Air Force and was discharged in April 1951.

I married Delores Mary Ranson November 27, 1948 in Ogden, Utah and the marriage was solemnized February 13, 1951 in the Salt Lake City Temple.

I am the father of Alan Duane (Wendy), Roy Utah; Kenneth Leon (Joleen), Roy Utah; Robin Marie, Ogden, Utah; Tamra Lea (Rulon Fuhriman), Ogden, Utah; Gaylynne (David Shakespeare), Clearfield, Utah. I have 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. I have two brothers, Eugene (Kay), Ogden, Utah; Carl (Alice), Riverton, Utah, and one sister, Pat (Don Dille), Woods Cross, Utah.

I worked 40 years for the Southern Pacific Railroad in Ogden, Utah as a machinist. I also held several positions in the Union.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Myers Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd.

Friends and relatives may meet at Myers Mortuary in Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd., before services on Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
