Mabel Davidson, age 75; wife of Tom, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, KY.
Mabel was born in Breathitt County, KY, on September 16, 1937, a daughter of the late Everett and Chelsea (Deaton) Drake. She was retired from Lyon Apparel in Beattyville and was a member of the First Church of God in Beattyville, KY.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years and 2 granddaughters; Kimberly Krystofik (Travis Tipton) of Beattyville, KY, Kelley (E.J.) Smith of Lancaster, KY, 4 Sisters; Lana D. Drake of Beattyville, KY, Athena (Doc) Howard of South Lebanon, OH, Ailene (Carl) Stamper of Plymouth, MI, Marie Maloney of Novi, MI, 4 great grandchildren; Audrina Smith, Thomas Millhouse Tipton, Natalie Michelle Tipton and Timothy Joe Tipton. Mabel is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
Mabel was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Michele Krystofik.
Funeral Services will be held at the Booneville Funeral Home, Booneville, KY at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 with Pastor Garett Thomas officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2013 from 1:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home. Mabel will be laid to rest at the Davidson Family Cemetery on Long Branch Road in Lee County, KY.
