Thomas Davidson, age 79, widower of Mabel, departed this life on Thursday, May 19, 2016, at the Lee County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Beattyville, KY.
He was born on September 26, 1936, in Beattyville, KY, to the late Joe Davidson and Mertie (Coomer) Davidson. Thomas served his country in the U.S. Navy and worked for The Peoples Exchange Bank and Central Finance as a finance manager until his retirement. Thomas was a member of the VFW Post 11296 and the Shriners in Beattyville, KY.
Thomas is survived by 2 grand daughters; Kimberly (Travis Tipton) Krystofik of Beattyville, KY, and Kelley (EJ) Smith of Lancaster, KY, 5 great grandchildren; Audrina Smith, Elam Smith, Thomas Millhouse Tipton, Natalie Michelle Tipton and Timothy Joe Tipton, 3 brothers; Larry (Dee) Davidson of Ohio, Dale Davidson of Florida and Joe Davidson, Jr, 4 sisters; Audrey Cooper of Waco, KY, Wanda Allen of Irvine, KY, Martha Burch and Jean Jackson, both of Beattyville, KY, and many other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Mabel, his daughter, Michelle Krystofik, his parents, Joe and Mertie Davidson and 2 brothers, Bob Davidson and Mac Davidson.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, May 22, 2016, at 3:00 PM at Booneville Funeral Home with Pastor Ricky Isaacs officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2016 from 2:00PM-3:00 PM at the Booneville Funeral Home. Thomas will be laid to rest beside his wife in the Davidson Family Cemetery located on Long Branch Road in Beattyville, KY.
