DEATH CALLS J.C.N. SETON

After being confined to his home for nearly three months, from the effects of a stroke, Mr. J.C.N. Seton passed quietly away at his home about 11 p.m. Tuesday evening. Mr. Seton had been able to sit up and Tuesday afternoon appeared to be feeling better than he had for some time. About ten p.m. he retired when he commenced coughing and complained that he was not feeling as well as usual. Dr. Murray was summoned by he passed away before the Doctor arrived.

The late Mr. Seton and his wife arrived in the Irma district over ten years ago when he purchased the Thompson farm on which they have made their home ever since. Mr. Seton had erected some good buildings on the farm and made other improvements until he had one of the best improved farms in the Irma district.

The deceased was born in Scotland 51 years ago, had a very pleasant disposition and took a keen interest in all educational and social affairs in the district. Both Mr. and Mrs. Seton have made a host of friends in the Irma district all of whom will greatly miss a good neighbor and friend.

The funeral will be held from the home Friday afternoon under the auspices of Gratton Lodge A.F. & A.M. assisted by Rev. A.M. Trendell of Wainwright, and Rev. A.M. Wright of Irma.
