Attended John Marshall Junior High and Roosevelt High School in Seattle. Graduated from the University of Washington. Bob was a outstanding athlete. Played basketball for both Roosevelt and Washington. Helm's first team All-American at Washington under Hec Edmundsen. Elected to UW Hall of Fame. Member Sigma Chi fraternity. Went to work for Sears and Roebucks, working in Longview, WA; assistant manager in Bellingham, WA; Manager in Klamath Falls OR, Yakima, WA, and Medford, OR where he retired. Avid golfer. Son of Gustav Adolph Olaussen Egge & Maria Elise 'Nana' Laprath. Twin brother to Dick Egge. Bob and Carol had 3 children: Bobby, Pamela , and Thomas
