Ivan was born to Gustav and Radmila Unukovic Sloboda in Balgrade, Yugoslavia. He was the owner and operator of his family business, Ivan Sloboda Plumbing and Heating for over 37 years. He was a member of Mansfield Liederkranz since april 28 1969.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years Marcina Bowers Sloboda; three sons, Todd (Barbara) , Robert (Lori), and Doug (Kim) Sloboda all of Mansfield; eight grandchildren; three sisters Vera Smith, Dusica (Misha) Sotirovic and Nada (Jovica) Stankov; sister-in-law Marty McCartney; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
