CLARION - Mrs. Rose Ada Mooney, 91, of 1313 Robinwood Drive, widow of Edward L. Mooney and a former school teacher, died at 8 pm Saturday in Clarion Hospital. She was born November 29, 1882, in Nickleville, Venango County, a daughter of Joseph and Nancy Pryor Watson. She graduated from Vandergrift High School and from Welch's Business College in Oil City. Mrs. Mooney formerly taught school in Nickleville.
She was married August 24, 1905, to Edward L. Mooney, who died in 1958. Mrs. Mooney was a member of the Licking Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are three sons, Alfred Leland Mooney of Lamartine, Walter W. Mooney of Easton, Md., and Mark Mooney of Tionesta; two daughters, Mrs. Clifford (Ethel) Huff of Sligo RD and Mrs. Theodore (Gladys) Permut of Clarion; 10 grandchildren and 15 great - grandchildren. One daughter is deceased.
