Gwen was the daughter of Benjamin Holvey and Sarah Elizabeth Robbins Holvey. She married Benjamin Turner (Sabastiano Furnari) in Wadsworth October 12, 1912. She was employed by the Ohio Match Company, and they were the parents of 3 children.

Mrs. Turner, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died Wednesday at St. Petersburg General Hospital after a four month illness. Born in Wadsworth, she lived there until 15 years ago when she moved to Florida. She continued to spend summers in Wadsworth. She leaves her daughter, Mrs. Alice Harfst, St. Petersburg, son Donald, sister, Mrs. Margaret Madigan, both of Wadsworth, 5 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
