Arlene worked as a Culinary Professional, and enjoyed cooking for large family gatherings, which helped her share her feelings of love and joy. Sharing her excellent cooking skills with her beloved extended family was an enjoyment she has passed down to her children. Her interests and hobbies were many. When her daughters were in grade school, she was very active in Girl Scouts. Going camping, selling cookies and being a leader gave her pleasure. Arlene always maintained an attractive yard with beautiful landscaping and flowers. She enjoyed being in the outdoors, gardening and being with her children. Arlene's talent as a seamstress benefitted all her family as she loved making clothing for her children, home decorations, and more.
Mrs. and Mr. Demasters moved to the Chiefland, FL area in 1988. There they enjoyed fishing, playing cards with family and friends, and traveling. Arlene was a loving wife, to her husband of 54 years, Bill, she was a devoted and dedicated mother and a grandmother extraordinaire. She loved her family and received her most pleasure from spending time with immediate and extended family.
Mrs. Demasters is preceded in death by her husband Clarence Bill Demasters, and her daughter Cynthia (Demasters) O'Donnell. She is survived by her children Beverly Wright, Billie (David) Andersen, Jim (Barbara) Demasters, Sandra (Larry) Demasters-Reynolds, and Kathleen (James) Davis. Arlene was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Of her 11 siblings, she is survived by 3.
