Deborah Lynn “Debbie” Denney Farris, age 59, of Purdy, MO, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Bentonview Park Care and Rehabilitation, Monett.
Debbie was born on February 17, 1957 in Los Angeles, CA, the daughter of the late Leroy “Junior” and Ruth Ann (Stewart) Denney.
Debbie retired from her job as a Deputy for the Public Administrators Office in Cassville; she was a loving mother and mema to her family.
She enjoyed doing crafts and was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Purdy.
On January 28, 1977 in Purdy, MO, she married Terry Farris and he survives.
To this union, she was blessed with six children.
Debbie is survived by her three sons, Jason Farris and wife Kerri, Greg Farris and T.J. Farris all of Purdy, MO; one daughter, Carrie Utter and husband Coy of Purdy, MO; one brother, Randy Denney of Cassville, MO; two sisters, Carla Henson and husband Steve of Pierce City, MO and Kim Ybarbo of Springfield, MO; four grandchildren, Dakota Farris, Dayten Farris, Dallas Farris and Pacie Utter and her step-mother, Judy Denney of Springfield, MO.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Levi and Cecil Farris; and one brother, Larry Denney.
Funeral services for Debbie will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Buchanan Funeral Home. Reverend Bert Ward will officiate.
Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Interment will be in the Arnhart Cemetery in Purdy.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Monett Sheltered Workshop in care of the funeral home.
