Mary Virginia Bass Virginia Bass was born in Parkdale, Arkansas on February 3, 1933 and entered into eternal rest Easter Sunday, April 16, 2006, in Austin, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rock and Mary Morris and also a brother and sister. She loved to travel and also do gardening. She also loved dancing and spending time with family especially her grandchildren. She is now dancing in Heaven, smiling down on her family. She is survived by two sons, Charles and Nicky Bass; and one daughter, Linda Johnson; grandchildren, Jimmy Johnson, Andrea Johnson, Julie Janiski, Nick Bass, Chris Bass, and Charlie Bass; four great-grandchildren and one brother, Lee Morris; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be Saturday, April 29, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Brookside Memorial Chapel of the Chimes in Houston, Texas. Virginia's family thanks Southern Care Hospice in Austin, Texas for their care and support during Virginia's final struggle with lung disease. A special thanks to Dr. James Boysen for his extraordinary care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Southern Care Hospice in Austin, Texas.
