Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel L. McKelvey, 64, of 1360 Brown Ave., Galesburg, who was killed last night in a two-car accident three miles east of Aledo on Illinois 17, will be at 1:30pm Tuesday at the First United Presbyterian Church, Galesburg, with Dr. Kermit Petersen officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Galesburg.
There will be no visitation, but the family will be at 1360 Brown Ave., on Monday evening.
Memorials may be made to the First United Presbyterian Church, Galesburg.
The former Hazel Burrill was born July 15, 1911, near the state of Illinois, the daughter of Elmer and Frances Sedwick Burrill.
She was married April 18, 1936, to Forde Fackler in Galesburg. He preceded her in death. On July 7, 1962, she was married to Guy McKelvey in Galesburg. He preceded her in death in 1970.
Mrs. McKelvey was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Galesburg and was a member of the Galesburg Community Chrous.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Jerry "Pamela" Nelson of Mendota; three brothers, Glen Burrill of Rock Island, Darrell Burrill of Aledo and Charles Burrill of Merced, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Carol McCoy of Edgington and Mrs. C. J. Lucille DeWitt of Phoenix, Ariz., and four grandchildren.
