Mrs. Mabel E. Starbuck, 87, died early Sunday morning, October 16, 1977 at the Heritage House, Richmond, where she had been a patient the past two years.
Mrs. Starbuck was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph County. She formerly resided at 701 Residence Street, Winchester and had also resided at Lynn Route 1. She was a member of the Hopewell Methodist Church and the Friendly Extension Homemakers Club. Mrs. Starbuck was the widow of Sylvester Starbuck who died in 1972.
Surviving are three sons, Cecil and Irvin, both of Winchester and Glen of Richmond; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Cecil Addington of Winchester rural route.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Thomas Funeral Home, Lynn, with the Rev. Phillip Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Buena Vista Cemetery.
