"John Bunt, a well-known citizen of this city, died at the family residence at 5:30 a. m., Tuesday. The deceased was born in Holland March 18, 1867 and came to this county in May 1889. For the past fifteen years, he has been engaged in business in this city. He was a quiet unassuming man, honest and industrious, and had a great many friends who esteemed him. The funeral took place Tuesday at 5 p. m. and was attended by a large number of friends and members of the Knights of Pythias, to which he belonged. The remains were laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery. The Advertiser extends sincere sympathy to the bereaved family."
