SENECA FALLS - Rita A. Hawker, 87, passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon (May 3, 2016) at Huntington Living Center.
Family will receive friends Friday (May 6, 2016) between 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. at the Sanderson-Moore Funeral Home, Inc., 32 State St., Seneca Falls. A graveside service will be held in St. Columbkille Cemetery with Fr. Jim Fennessy following visitation.

Rita was born in Auburn, N.Y., the daughter of Dominic and Antoinette Zuzulo Giovannetti on September 4, 1928. She lived most of her life in the Seneca Falls and Waterloo area. Rita retired from Sylvania in Seneca Falls as a production supervisor for over thirty years. A member of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Seneca Falls. For many years she enjoyed fishing and bowling and in later years helping to raise her five grandsons.
She is survived by a daughter, Beatrice (Joseph) Nolan, Seneca Falls and three sons, Michael Hawker, Allen W. (Carrie Dougherty) Hawker Jr. and Peter Hawker, all of Seneca Falls; a sister, Alma Moore of Syracuse; five grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
Rita was predeceased by her husband, Allen W. Hawker, Sr.
