Billie Louise Bryant Bond, 75, of Laurel, died Saturday, May 11, 2002, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, with burial in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Jones County. Dr. Randall Turner and the Rev. Ronnie Joe Webb will officiate. She was a member of First Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Annette Holifield. She is survived by her husband, C. Dillard Bond of Laurel; two daughters, Meredith Anne Giles of Hattiesburg and Janie Butts of Ellisville; three grandchildren, David Butts, Denny Butts and Anne-Carol Johnson; and one great grandchild, Jacob Johnson. Pallbearers will be David Butts, Denny Butts, Louie Bond Jr., Glenn "Tippy" Walters, Terry Walters and Samuel C. Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Curry Rowell and Deeb Rahaim. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. today, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, which is in charge of arrangements.
