Gus Kennedy, 84, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Friday, May 13, 2016 in a local hospital. He was born March 6, 1932 in Texarkana, Texas.
He was retired owner of Gus Kennedy Shoe Store and was a U.S. Army Korea Veteran. Gus was a member of St. James Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra; two daughters, Kathy Worley of Ft. Worth, Tx. and Kari Turner of Argyle, Tx.; two sons, Gus Kennedy III of Florida and Paul Kennedy of Texarkana; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a. m. Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at St. James Episcopal Church with Rev. Douglas Anderson officiating. Entombment will be at the St. James Episcopal Church columbarium niche and reception will follow in the Great Hall of St. James.
