B.C. Spivey, a well known farmer of R-2, died at his home Sunday afternoon. He was taken with grip, followed by pneumonia, which made his illness of short duration.
Mr. Spivey has many friends and relatives over the country who will be deeply grieved to hear of his sudden illness. The deceased is survived by his wife and several children.
Funeral service was held Monday, with interment in the cemetery near the home.
