James Henry Branstetter age 88 of Three Springs passed away at 7:23 p.m. Monday September 19, 2011 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital E.R. He was a Metcalfe Co. native, a Farmer and a U.S. Marine Veteran of World War II. He was a faithful member of Jesus Name Church for Sixty Years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy Branstetter & Alta Nunn Branstetter, a Brother, Lonnie Branstetter and by Two Sisters, Clara Ruth Estes & Edna Earl Pierce.

He is survived by his wife, Claris Carmicle Branstetter of Three Springs, His Son, Billy Branstetter & his wife Melinda of Three Springs, His Daughter, Sue Davis & her husband Mitchell of Three Springs, His Granddaughter, Emily Pike & her husband Andy of Alabama, His Grandsons, Joey Branstetter of Three Springs & Jeremy Davis & his wife Crystle of Three Springs. His Great-Granddaughter, Madison Davis of Three Springs. Also a Host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends and Neighbors survive.

Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 3 until 8 p.m. on Thursday and after 9 a.m. until funeral time on Friday.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday September 23, 2011 in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Cosby Cemetery. Military Honors will be conducted by D.A.V. Chapter # 20 of Glasgow at the Gravesite.
