Mrs. Flora (Cusworth) Hirst of 127 Ottawa Avenue. Oakland Beach, died yesterday at her home after a long illness.
Born in Yorkshire, England, July 22, 1876, a daughter of William and Suzanne (Coates) Cusworth; she came to this country at an early age. For the last 12 years she lived in Oakland Beach.
Mrs. Hirst is survived by her husband, Edgar Hirst, two daughters, Mrs. John Lutz of Oakland Beach and Mrs. Lester Hopkins of Scituate, two sons, Edgar Hirst of Harmony, and Joseph Hirst of Oakland Beach, three brothers, Ralph Cusworth of Providence, Charles Cusworth of Philadelphia, and John Cusworth of Detroit; three sisters, Mrs. Ellen Jennings of Utica, N.Y, Mrs. Annie Dobson of Philadelphia, and Miss.Ethel Cusworth of New York and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 pm at the J.F.Skeffington Chapel, 925 Chalkstone Avenue. The Rev. Walter Parmelle, pastor of the Fiskville Tabernacle Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Quidnessett Cemetery, North Kingston, RI.
