Bruce Alan Christensen returned to his Heavenly Father on May 10, 2016.

He was born on July 29, 1946 to Charles Bert and Blanche Davidson Christensen in Rexburg, Idaho. He married Colleen McQuillan on August 14, 1970 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Bruce graduated from Murray High School and served two tours in Vietnam with the U.S. Navy. He was a maintenance engineer at Cross Roads Plaza. Bruce was a member of the LDS Church and enjoyed working with the scouts. His hobbies included: photography, fishing, tying flies, and wood carving.

He is survived by his wife Colleen; one sister Linda (Jack) Peterson; and three brothers, Aaron (Carla) Christensen, Dean (Elena) Christensen, and Rex (Jill) Christensen. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Brian, and one sister Lynelle.

Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E., Bountiful, UT. Friends may visit the family at the mortuary on Sunday, May 15, 2016 from 6-8p.m. and from 9:30 – 10:30 on Monday prior to the services.
