Dwight D. Bailey, 57, of Dayton Court, passed away Monday, May 10, 2010 at South County Hospital.
Born in South Kingstown a son of M. Doreen (Kettelle) Bailey of North Kingstown and Edwin Bailey of Lisbon, NH, he lived in Colorado before moving back to RI 10 years ago.
Dwight was a US Marine Corps Veteran serving during the Vietnam War.
Dwight was a truck driver in Colorado before retiring due to illness.
Besides his parents, he leaves two brothers, Brian Bailey of West Kingston and Glenn Bailey of North Kingstown; a niece, Krystal Bailey of FL and a nephew, Bryan Bailey of Charlestown; a step-brother Wayne Bailey of South Kingstown; and his former wife, Lorie McDonald of CO. He was the brother of the late Kevin Bailey.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours Tuesday, May 18th from 5-8pm in the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held Thursday, May 20th at 11am in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 will be appreciated.
