CHARLES DOUGLAS SHUPE

Charles "shed the bounds of this fragile earth" on October 18, 1994, as a result of an automobile accident.

His strength and dedication will never be forgotten. His passion for life was the love of his family, his music and his art. He had a unique and personal relationship with God. He enjoyed his life and his family to the fullest extent in spite of his difficulty with Cystic Fibrosis.

After a ten-year separation he is once again with his best friend -- Jason.

Charles was born May 13, 1954 to Robert Ned and Diane E. Shupe. He married Linda Lee Nipper on July 10, 1981; and later divorced.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles S. Stephens.

He is survived by his children, twins, Christian and Jessica; his parents; his grandparents, Clarence G. and Ruth W. Shupe, and Lela Stephens; his brothers, David and his wife, Taryl of Redmond, Wash.; Martin of Spokane, Wash.; his sister, Kathryn Elliott and her husband, Robert of St. George, Utah.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 24, 1994, at 12 noon, at Evans & Early Mortuary, 574 East 100 South, where friends may call Sunday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and one hour prior to services Monday, Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Utah would be appreciated.
