Obituary for Raymond Barefoot
CORDELE -- Raymond Barefoot, 88, of Cordele, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, at Portsbridge Hospice in Macon. Funeral services will be Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. in chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005 at the funeral home.
Mr. Barefoot was a native of Wilcox County, a farmer and retired bus driver for Crisp County Board of Education. He was the husband of the late Lillie McGehee Barefoot.
Survivors include his sons: Norman Barefoot of McDonough and Henry Barefoot of Cordele; his daughter: Essie Nasworthy of Macon; 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
