Blanche T. Ginn, 78, of Dimmitt, died Sunday.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Vernon O'Kelly, officiating.
Burial followed in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Foskey Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ginn was a native of Glen Allen, Ala., and had been a Castro County resident since 1940, living in the Flagg community before moving into Dimmitt. She married Cecil Ginn in 1929 at Hollis, Okla. He died in 1980. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Dimmitt Senior Citizens Association.
Survivors include a son, Rayford of Tempe, Ariz.; six sisters, Tennie Beasley of Anniston, Ala., Ella Tracey of Mineral Wells, Lillian Beasley of Winfield, Ala., Lona Perry of Marysville, Calif., and Evelyn McWhorter and Betty Moore, both of Memphis; a brother, Ed Tucker of Vestal N.Y.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be to the American Diabetes Association or to a favorite charity.
Pallbearers were Rex Wooten, Ted Sheffy, Bill Birdwell, Donald Wright, Danny Rice and Don Sheffy.
