Services for Donald Olen Adams, 63, of Hereford, former Dimmitt resident, were held Sunday afternoon in Foskey Funeral Home's Ivey Chapel at Dimmitt with M.G. "Bud" Corless, pastor of the First Christian Church, and Rev. Sam Milam, pastor of Frio Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial followed in Westlawn Memorial Park at Dimmitt under the direction of Foskey Funeral Home, also of Dimmitt.

Mr. Adams died at 1:40 p.m. Friday at his home.

He was born Sept. 6, 1929, in Devol, Okla. He married Pauline Clay on Sept. 6, 1950 in Muleshoe. He lived in Dimmitt before moving to Hereford in 1961. He worked for Tri-State Chemical in Hereford. He was a member of Dimmitt's First Christian Church, where he served as an elder and Sunday School superintendent.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Kenneth Adams of Hereford; a daughter, Diana Korman of Chicago, Ill.; a brother, Douglas Adams of Hale Center; a sister, Patsy Barnes of Fairview, Mo.; and a granddaughter.

Pallbearers were Leroy Kinser, Jim Long, Rick Ortiz, Leroy Maxwell, Willis A. Hawkins and Chano Guerrero.
