JAMES “JIM” HORNER

ROXBORO – James “Jim” Horner, 65, of Rt. 1, Hurdle Mills, formerly of the Knoll Manor Rest Home, died Tuesday morning in Durham County General Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was a native of Orange County.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Brooks & White Funeral Home chapel by the Rev. Frank Thacker. Burial will be in the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church cemetery.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Ella Horner Weaver of Rt. 1, Hurdle Mills.

The family will receive visitors from 7 to 9 today at Brooks & White Funeral Home and at other times at the home of his sister.
