He died 1759-1760, Amelia County, Virginia, and may have been in poor health when his father wrote his will in 1751 as Thomas stipulated that after Richard's Death, the land he had already given Richard and additional land would go to Richard's son, William. Richard's wife was Constant, last name unknown.
