CLARION - Mrs. Emma W. Kellett, 74, of East Eighth Avenue, wife of Thomas R. Kellett and active in club in church activities, died at 3 AM Sunday in her home.

She was born August 3, 1900, in Jefferson County, a daughter of Rysome M. and Emma C. Henneman Wayne. She was married January 14, 1919, to Thomas R. Kellett, who survives.

She was an active member and former Deacon of the First Presbyterian Church in Clarion and a member of Circle 3 of the Women’s Association of the church. Mrs. Kellett was a member and past matron of the Clarion Chapter of the Eastern Star, a member of the Clarion Women’s Club and the Clarion Hospital Guild.

Surviving along with her husband are a son, Wayne R. Kellett of Clarion; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Jane) Wenner of Clarion; five sisters, Mrs. Thomas (Hazel) Good of Waynesburg, Mrs. Thomas (Ellen) Smith of Canton, Ohio, Mrs. Fred (Florence) Caldwell of Big Run him him him, Mrs. Anthony (Lavina) Harman of Buffalo, N. Y., and Mrs. Glenn (Alvera) Smith of Sykesville; two brothers, Edward and Robert Wayne of Punxsutawney; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A sister and a brother are deceased.

Friends may call anytime after 7 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Gerald L. Goble Funeral Home in Clarion. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Presbyterian Church with the pastor, Rev. William Kemp, officiating. Interment will be in the Clarion Cemetery. The Clarion Chapter of the Eastern Star will hold a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
