Ted William Owens, 58, of Woodruff, SC, passed away Monday, May 3, 2016.
Son of the late George Dewey Owens and Opal Wilson Owens O'Shields.
He was a truck driver for MADD Transportation in Georgia and was an avid dirt track fan.
He is survived by two sons, Travis 'Trap' Owens and Tim Owens; eight brothers and sisters, Terry Owens, David Dewey Owens, Robert O'Shields, Vickie O'Shields Robinson, Chris O'Shields, Judy O. Jordan, Douglas 'Duck' O' Shields, and Dinkie O'Shields; a number of nieces and nephews; and two grandchildren, Owen D. Garcia and Travis Oneal Owens, Jr.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Owens.
Funeral Services were 2:00 PM Friday, May 6, 2016 in the Stribling Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Buster Ball officiating.
The family received friends 7:00 until 9:00 PM Thursday, May 5, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment was in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.
