Eunice Pangburn was born October 21, 1909 in Eastland, Texas. Eunice lived the majority of her life in Oklahoma City while still claiming her Texas roots. She was married to Leroy for 65 years,

Eunice was the consummate homemaker. Friends and family will remember her for her wonderful meals and baked goods. Eunice's family and their comfort were always at the forefront of her plans. Eunice also had a love of the outdoors spending many a weekend at their cabin on Lake Tenkiller where she and Leroy enjoyed boating and fishing. Although proclaiming her self a 'loner', Eunice loved people. It had been remarked that she never met a stranger. Lifelong friendships developed from such relationships such as that of her beauty operator of 40 years and those of her favorite grocery store associates. Eunice loved the grocery store.

Eunice is preceded in death by husband, Leroy; daughter, Dorothy; grandson, Karl; granddaughter, Karen; and all of her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by grandsons Joel and Steven Sundstrom; great grandchildren Tanja Jenkins, Scott and Lee Sundstrom; and great great grandchildren Hunter and Cole Jenkins and numerous nieces and nephews. The family remains extremely grateful to Alma Golden, caregiver and friend to Eunice.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 24, 2004 at Resthaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Eunice's name to Meals on Wheels of Okla. City or to Heartland Hospice Services.
