Michael Mahoney, 26, of Haverhill passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, June 20, 2015, at Holy Family Hospital at Merrimack Valley. Michael was born in Lawrence, July 12, 1988, and was the son of Dennis and Susan (Clark) Mahoney. He was educated in the Haverhill School System and graduated from Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School, Class of 2006. While there, he was a member of the first Super Bowl winning football team for Whittier. Michael enjoyed snowboarding, fishing, watching his shows on TV, and music. He was an avid New England Patriots football fan and Boston sports fan. He is survived by his loving parents, Susan and Dennis Mahoney; and a brother Shawn Mahoney; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Relatives and friends were respectfully invited to attend his calling hours Thursday, June 25, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. A graveside service followed the calling hours, at 12:15 p.m., in Linwood Cemetery.
