A former Tinker airforce base employe, Lovin Ross Hare, 79, of 2133 NW 26, died at his home Friday following an illness of about two years.
Services will be Monday at the Hunter funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Resthaven cemetery.
Hare was born in Arkansas, and came to Oklahoma about 1912 after a few years farming in Texas. In Oklahoma, he farmed until he came to Oklahoma City where he went to work at Tinker airforce base. He left that job sometime ago when his health failed.
He was a member of the Assembly of God church.
Surviving are 11 children: Lena Seats, with whom he lived at 2133 NW 26; Willie Hare, Ruby Malone, Lillie Warner, Lawrence Hare, Louise Lamascus, Edna Weeks, all of Oklahoma City; Leonard Hare, Duncan; Burness Hare, Shamrock, Texas; Otis Hare, Canada, and Estelle Lingwall; three stepchildren: Edward Tigrett, Kansas; Artie Lee Shannon, of Texas, and Albert Tigrett, of Oklahoma City.
