Mildred Mae Eads, age 77, of Jefferson City, died Saturday, October 14, 2006, at the Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born near Ulman on December 3, 1928, daughter of Logan Hadley and Eula Sarah (Shepherd) Stone.

In 1946, she was married to Leslie Eads, who preceded her in death in October 1994.

She was a member of Ulman Christian Church.

Survivors include two sons, Roger Eads and wife, Joan of Eldon, and Reggie Eads of St. Charles; one sister, Margaret Morris of Columbia; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Glen Hadley Stone; and one grandson, Michael Eads.

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 18, at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Gene Edwards officiating. Interment will be in Hickory Point Cemetery near Iberia.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
